About us

Yellow Wales is a registered Charity that specialises in supporting and inspiring young people primarily, but not exclusively aged 16 -25, many of whom experience difficulties in their lives and who are often disengaged from training, education or employment.

Our programmes help:

  • Deliver recognised national qualifications
  • Build confidence and raise self esteem
  • Make learning engaging, empowering and fun
  • Teach and encourage personal and social responsibility
  • Open up further opportunities to access education, training or employment
  • Yellow Wales recognises that education and employment are key pathways out of poverty and the cycle of homelessness. The Charity works to empower and equip young people with important life and social skills and to assist them to make lasting positive lifestyle choices.

Our Vision

Our vision is of a world where young people have high aspirations, the opportunity to develop their full potential, make the best use of their talents, lead healthy and fulfilling lives, and who are valued for the unique human being that they are.

Mission Statement

To improve the wellbeing, life opportunities and employment prospects of all young people who access our services and to help them develop their social, academic, vocational and life skills.

Our Values

Yellow Wales is committed to excellence in all that we do, working to our 6 core values which are:

  • A recognition that young people are at the heart of our work
  • Promoting positive attitudes about and towards young people
  • Believing in young people and their unlimited potential
  • Being inclusive, promoting equality of opportunity and valuing diversity
  • Being responsive so that we meet our commitments and responsibilities
  • A belief that through our work we can impact upon and contribute toward the social development and economic prosperity of young people and communities
